I ‘bumped into’ Kinesiology at a ‘sliding doors’ moment. I took and early break from a conference I was attending. As I walked into the lounge, I realised a few more of my colleagues had done the same! Something strange was happening though, one of them was lying on the sofa with another girl doing what looked like some sort of treatment on her. The girl having the treatment sat up in tears, the shoulder pain she had suffered with for 20 years, had disappeared in minutes!
I was intrigued to find out more about what they were doing and how they had achieved this in only a few minutes. I mentioned to the lady doing the treatment, that the friend I was with had also been suffering some pain and would she see if she could help. That’s pretty much all I said, and later that day she did a few muscle tests on him and could give us a brief summary of what had probably caused it and what to do about it. I was in tears… I couldn’t’ believe how in such a short space of time, she knew so much and had a solution. He followed her advice and the pain disappeared… still to this day, 12 plus years later!
As soon as I got home from the convention, the course was booked! I was training to do the same! I completed the foundation course and loved it so much, I followed on with the full course in the September. And that is where my Kinesiology journey began.
